What is Listenin?

An app that listens to your meeting with you. It writes down what people say, as they say it. When something is confusing, it explains it in easy words. At the end, it gives you a short note of what happened.

Who is it for?

Anyone who walks out of an important meeting and can't remember what was said. Tell Listenin what your meeting is about, in your own words, and it gets ready for that room.

Is it free?

Yes. Listenin is free to use right now. If we ever add paid extras, we'll say so clearly first, and nothing you have today will be taken away.

Do I need a password?

No. You sign in with your email. We send you a six-digit code. Type it in and you're in for thirty days.

Am I allowed to record my doctor?

You're allowed to keep notes of your own appointment. We'd always suggest telling the other person first. Something like "Do you mind if I make some notes?" is usually enough, and almost everyone says yes.

Where do my meetings go?

They stay on your phone. We don't keep a readable copy on our computers. If you share a meeting, it's locked (encrypted) on your phone first, and only the person you send the link to can unlock it. Not even we can read it.

Can I send the notes to my family?

Yes. You choose who, every time. Before the meeting you can pick the people you'd like to update. Afterwards, nothing is sent until you press the button yourself.

Can Listenin get things wrong?

Yes, sometimes. It listens well but it's not perfect, and neither is the AI that explains things. Always check the important things with your doctor, nurse or caseworker. Listenin helps you remember and understand. It doesn't replace the professional in the room.

What languages does it work in?

More than twenty. The meeting can be in one language and your notes in another. For example, the doctor speaks English and your summary arrives in Polish.

How do I delete everything?

Settings, then Delete All My Data. That wipes your meetings, your saved people, and switches off every share link your phone has made. If you signed in with your email and want your account gone too, email hello@listenin.uk and we'll remove it.

Who made this?

Listenin is built in the UK by one person, after watching his dad take a friend to cancer appointments to help him take it all in. Not everyone has that friend. That's what Listenin is for.
